Brooks High School graduate earned position of wing commander in Air Force ROTC


KILLEN — Brooks High School alumna Savannah Farris of Troy University was in for a big surprise this past April.

She was appointed wing commander in the ROTC, where she will represent all of the cadets and serve as a liaison between the cadets and cadre.

Farris is currently enrolled in an eight week program through Liberty University’s School of Aeronautics, where she will earn her private pilot license.
