Almost 20 years ago, schools throughout the United States began noticing an increase in the number of students dealing with stress and anxiety. Students at Texas A&M University, particularly those in the Corps of Cadets, were faced with the same challenges.
To help cadets better cope with Corps and college life, the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets took steps to address mental health issues.
Less than a year later, on-site counseling services are already making a difference in the cadets’ lives.
