Cadets from the Colleton County NJROTC spent the night on the USS Yorktown, where they toured the ship and viewed historical artifacts. The cadets also had the opportunity to attend the Patriot’s Point Flying Academy for a simulated flight class and visit the Vietnam War exhibit.

The cadets attended the Ceremony commissioning the USS Charleston (LCS 18), the most important event in the life of the vessel.

Five Colleton County High School NJROTC cadets will be entering the following branches of the United States military upon graduation: the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, and the United States National Guard.
