Summer training programs provide opportunity to cadets

This summer, 6,500 cadets from different states gear up for unique experiences at Fort Knox,
Kentucky. Cadets must complete an intensive, 12-week training to be commissioned in the military.
Third year cadets are tested on rifle marksmanship, first aid, physical fitness, and more.

CPT Kattie Neujahr, assistant professor of military science at the University of Northern Georgia, noted that the cadets develop bonds during the training with their counterparts from other schools. Such experiences are beneficial in helping students to interact with varying personalities in the military environment.
