ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — Students in Virginia Tech’s ROTC program had the opportunity to work with 15 members of the U.S. Air Force.

Members of the The Air Force taught cadets to fly using the T-6 Texan II, while other cadets flew in the T-1 Jayhawk.

The training is an effort to generate student interest in obtaining a pilot’s license to try to increase the number of pilots across the aviation community.
